Privacy & Legal Policy
At ArDraw Online, safeguarding your personal information and respecting intellectual property are top priorities. This document details how we handle data, permissions, and copyrighted uploads.
Privacy Policy
ArDraw Online ("we," "our," or "us") provides the web-based tracing and sketching utility available at ardraw.online (the "Platform"). We respect your privacy and are committed to transparency in our data processing activities. This privacy policy details how our browser-based AR tracing tools utilize your device's hardware locally and states our independent status.
1. Independent Platform Notice
ArDraw Online is an independent, browser-based web application. We are not associated, affiliated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with any mobile applications listed on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, nor with any other third-party companies, developers, or trademarks. All software operations run strictly inside your web browser.
2. Local Browser Camera Processing
Our tool projects template outlines onto your physical drawing surface. To accomplish this, the Platform requests access to your device's camera feed.
Strict Client-Side Handling:
The video stream from your camera is processed entirely inside your local browser tab using HTML5 APIs (WebRTC and Canvas). We do not record, store, or transmit your camera feed or images of your physical surroundings to our servers. All visual data remains local to your device and is discarded when you close the tab.
3. User-Selected Images
You can upload your own photos to create transparent trace lines. These files are processed locally via the browser's FileReader API and are loaded into your device's local memory. No user-uploaded image files are sent to or stored on ArDraw Online servers.
We catalog a library of free, public-domain template outlines. If you are a copyright owner and believe a template in our public index infringes your rights, please submit a notice following our DMCA Policy for prompt removal.
4. Information Collection and Usage
We keep information collection to a minimum to ensure our site operates efficiently:
- Analytics: We use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to gather anonymous, aggregated statistics regarding website visits, browser types, and usage patterns.
- Direct Communications: If you contact us via support email, we collect your email address and message content solely to respond to your inquiry.
5. Browser Cookies and Local Storage
We use cookies and HTML5 Local Storage to save user preferences, such as selected layout sizes, line weight adjustments, and favorite templates. This information is saved locally on your browser and can be cleared using your browser settings at any time.
6. Regional Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Depending on your jurisdiction (such as the European Economic Area or California), you have rights to request data deletion or withdrawal of permissions (like camera access). Because we do not store personal account information or custom user images, these rights are largely managed by you directly clearing your browser cookies and disabling camera access in your browser settings.
7. Children's Privacy
ArDraw Online does not collect or request personal details from individuals under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information (such as a support email address), please email us and we will purge the conversation logs immediately.
8. Amendments to this Policy
We may occasionally modify this Privacy Policy. Any updates will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" timestamp at the top.
